First layer:

I remember my childhood in Yazd and an old workshop where women used to weave carpets. One of the women, who had a suffering face, was looking at the map and reading the map with a captivating rhythm (as if reciting a poem), and others were removing the colorful threads hanging from the carpet and the colors were mixed with the movement of the hands and the carpet was woven.The colorful threads that hung from the rug and were tied by the movement of the hands, under the light, looked more attractive to me than the patterns on the carpet. This memory was tied years later, when I saw the “Rainbow” in the sky of Yazd for the first time and I was hooked.

Second layer:

The initial works of this project are inspired by the above events and textiles, but in a ” Process”, a subject that I studied later, was the interference of painting spectrums with the areas of “place ~ space”. The question is, how can the spectrums of “place ~ space” be layered in the painting? The paintings produced in the field of this question are an attempt to interfere with this conceptual idea through the medium of painting.
